The DirtWorld Summit was an event to remember, and yes, Jocko 👊 was there! I highly recommend this event next year for contractors and industry partners interested in retaining, recruiting, and hiring people. We got to hear from our customer and friend Dan Garcia on how C.W. Matthews has gotten high schoolers in the workforce. The labor shortage in our industry is not going to fix itself and this event focused on solutions. Finally, for first time event holders, we think BuildWitt absolutely crushed it.

I was engrossed by this article. I'm skeptical about management consultants, due to past experiences where experts addressed problems we internally understood but were hesitant to confront. John Horn, however, illustrates the effectiveness of starting small with a narrow focus on competitive intelligence and employing narrative techniques alongside tech to foresee competitive bidding behaviors.
