• Knife River split off from their parent company MDU Resources in June and are their own public company. This makes it easier to analyze their financials. Their operation covers 14 states west of the Mississippi and are driven by aggregates with ready mix, asphalt, and construction.

• Their Q3 earnings report shows a 12% increase in revenue to $1.09 billion and a 47% increase in net income to $146.7 million.
